Shanghai No1 Department Store (East Nanjing Road)

The southern building which used to house Daxin Company created in 1936 is an architectural masterpiece which was placed under the protection of the local government in 1989. In December 2007, the No. 1 Department Store housed in a new building north of the original one was opened to the public. The old and new buildings together offer a total floor area of over 70,000 square meters, making No. 1 Department Store a destination of choice for shopping, leisure and dining.

353 Plaza

Located on East Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, 353 Plaza is dominated by a time-honored building which, though renovated, still preserves its original flavor. “Fashion Code” (1st-3rd floors) is where big fashion brands of the world converge; “Trend Code” (4th-5th floors) features retailers for street fashions, outdoor gear and sporting equipment; “Leisure Code” (6th -7th floors) brings together chic eateries and large personal electronic products retailers. Shanghai Landmark Department Store was established by Mainland China and Hong Kong investors in 1997. Trendy items are scattered on its 10 floors (including 2 underground floors) which offer a total area of 25,000 square meters.

Yongan Department Store

Yong’an Department Store traces its origins to 1918. Though it once changed its name a number of times, it got its original name back in 2005 and preserves it until today. Its six floors offer a total area of 32,000 square meters, dedicated to high-end clothing and accessories.
